Between work, two kids, trying to be an attentive wife and wanna-be Suzie Homemaker, I find myself taking pictures to keep my life in focus. Luckily for you, I’m the sharing type.
Happy (belated) Valentine’s Day! Usually, Valentine’s Day is all about my extreme obsession with the color pink being socially acceptable. This year? It was all about cute Valentine’s for Maddie’s preschool class. She only had two stipulations… 1. She had to make them. 2. Fish had to be used. As in the real ones. Ummmm… No.
After she caught a nasty cold and I wouldn’t let her anywhere near the food that her little friends would be eating, I took matters into my own hands. Cute, right?

Obviously we had to continue the Valentine’s theme through to dinner time! Delish!
The next day, as I was doing the fun task of washing dishes, I turned around to little Miss Makinley (5 months) sitting up in her Rock-n-Play. I wasn’t really ready for that to happen. Time to go buy more baby gear! Maybe a bouncer/exercauser/jump-a-roo thing? Maddie LOVED hers when she was Makinley’s age. Any other suggestions? You know, something to put her in so I can wash dishes, get dinner started, restart the dryer to fluff the clothes for the 7th time in 2 days, make coffee…
The rest of the week? You don’t want to see it. Its bad. The coughing. The sneezing. The nastiness that is a house full of cold/flu. What is up with the illnesses this year? Ugh!
