Hidden away on Malletts Bay is a sleepaway camp for girls ages 10-18 that has helped nurture girls through the hard job of growing up. Brown Ledge Camp seeks to empower girls through their traditional camp activities, and their free choice philosophy, Brown Ledgers find their passion(s), and learn how to live, work and play in a small community.
Brown Ledge Camp embraces the free choice philosophy. What does this mean? It means that girls go to the activities that they like, when they want to, and stay as long as they like. No sign-up sheets or activity periods requiring rotation.
Activities abound and campers can choose from options like horseback riding, archery, tennis, theater & dance, water sports and more! Your child will learn new skills, meet new friends, and become a part of a community that values fun, accomplishments, and the limitless ability of girls.
Brown Ledge has two summer sessions to choose from:
First session: June 25th-July 22nd
Second Session: July 23rd – August 19th
They also offer an 8 week session that runs from June 25th to August 19th.
