Wonderful food, great company, fun giveaways, tasty treats, and not to mention a night completely to ourselves without children demanding our attention and challenging our patience…I don’t know about you but I’m in desperate need of something like this every once in awhile as a momma! Enter BVT Moms Blog’s first Mom’s Night Out event at Leunig’s Bistro this past Monday! Shannon and I had been eagerly anticipating this first event and we were not disappointed!
These were our beautiful surroundings for the evening as Leunig’s staff pampered us with wonderful service and amazing food.
As we enjoyed our food and drinks from the open bar, all of us moms had a chance to chat and get to know one another which was definitely the highlight of the evening for me. I LOVED getting to meet more of you local mommas, exchange kid stories, and plan some future fun events together!
After dinner we got to play Santa and pass along some wonderful goodies from our local sponsors:
*Earthy Soul- Eileen at Earthy Soul is amazing! She specializes in prenatal and reiki message, as well as reflexology. One lucky lady won a 60 minute massage and one more lucky reader will win a 90 minute massage in our giveaway on the blog next week!
*Escential Aromatherapy- Val from Escential Aromatherapy graciously gave away some lovely oils and goodies. Val throws some great spa and aromatherapy parties for those that are looking for something unique and fun to do with their girlfriends. Make sure to check out her site to see all she has to offer!

*Silpada- Vicky, a consultant for Silpada Sterling Silver Jewelry, provided a silver cleaning cloth to one of our winners. Not only do these cloths work wonderfully, but for every cloth sold, Silpada donates $1 to fight type 1 juvenile diabetes!
*The Flynn Center- One momma won 2 tickets to the show Bad Plus at the Flynn for a fabulous date night out on the town! They have some great shows coming up so be sure to check them out when you are planning your next night out!
*Thirty-One- Katie, a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts, graciously gave us one of their Retro-Metro Bags along with some other amazing goodies to give to one lucky momma. Thirty-One Gifts has so many amazing products for us moms; bags in all shapes and sizes, organizational totes and bins, adorable wallets and accessories, and so much more!
Not wanting to leave anyone out, we sent each mom home with some amazing treats from The Little Purple Cake Shoppe and Cookie Doodlez. These two local businesses are run by some amazingly talented ladies who make delicious treats! Be sure to contact them if you are in need of a beautiful cake or some delicious cookies for your next party or event!
Overall it was a wonderful night and we are so grateful to all of you mommas who braved the snow and joined us for our first event! We can’t wait to plan many more mom’s nights out…be sure to look out for our next one sometime in early June!
