The Best Fireworks in Northern VT

2

It’s that glorious time of year again where we come together and celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and our independence as a nation. While we dawn our red, white, and blue outfits, attend countless BBQ’s, eat endless bowls of watermelon, check out local parades, we also go on a mission to find the best fireworks around. The BVTMB team collaborated on the best places to see fireworks in Northern Vermont in an effort to help you and your families have an awesome 4th of July. We hope to see you there!

Town of Williston Fireworks:

Starting on Friday the town of Williston has events for the whole family to celebrate, including a parade, ice cream social, frog jumping contest, and most. After you have filled up on ice cream and fun be sure to head over to Allen Brook School where the fireworks take place. This is a great event and generally not very crowded. You can check out the bounce castle, play on the school’s playground with your kids, and simply set up your lawn chairs while snacking on some of the food from local vendors. The event starts at 7:00 with fireworks starting around 9:30PM.

  1. Maple Street Park in Essex is good for family activities, but 2013 we tried them out, and they only had burgers, fries, and popsicles – no fried dough at all!

Just a friendly heads up for those attending that are looking for fried dough 😉
