Essex Junction Train Hop and Tree Lighting

Join your neighbors for the 7th Annual Essex Junction Train Hop and Village Tree Lighting. The Train Hop is a free community event!

How it works: Businesses and community partners throughout Downtown Essex Junction host model train displays or train/holiday related activities. Maps are provided to visitors identifying Hop Stations – the participating locations. Wander around the Village enjoying all it has to offer and mark locations visited on your map.

The tree lighting will be at 6:15 PM.

There is no cost to hop around the Village, but you’ll want to bring your wallet! Five Corners Farmers’ Market vendors will be selling stocking stuffers, food and more. Grab dinner or a drink downtown and support our local economy!

Train Hop Stops: Brownell Library, Darkroom Gallery, Transitions Physical Therapy, Maplehurst Florist, Murray’s Tavern, Essex Junction Amtrak Station, Law Offices of David A. Barra, The Essex Area Senior Center, TD Bank, Essex CHIPS, Essex Junction Lions Club (in the Village Offices conference room), EJRP Maple Street Park & Pool, Chittenden County Chiropractic, Essex Community Players (in the Brownell Library), Essex Junction Fire Department, S & D Driveway Snowblowing (Brownell Lawn), Excelerate Essex, Co-Working Space, The Roaming Railroad (Lincoln Hall Parking Lot), & Living Room: Center of Positivity
