Bellows Falls Santa Express

Who doesn’t remember taking a Christmas Train ride with Santa and the Grinch, caroling elves and special surprises on the Green Mountain Railroad in Bellows Falls.

Embark on a magical train ride filled with holiday cheer aboard the historic Green Mountain Flyer, Bellows Falls to the North Pole (Chester Station) and back again.

This scenic route has a long heritage of tourism going back to 1964 when Monadnock, Steamtown and Northern Amusement Corporation set up Steamtown USA, and Green Mountain Railroad was off and running the stunningly beautiful Bellows Falls to Chester (North Pole) Route.

The historic engines and coaches, with everyone’s favorite Christmas characters providing entertainment, will depart the Bellows Falls train station three times at 9:30 am, 1:15 pm and 5:00 pm.  The historic station, , circa 1849 and 1921, has a passenger waiting room outfitted for the Holidays in the railroad’s heyday including early 20th century benches from the old Boston South Station and an “o” gauge model train set getting fixed up as a cultural heritage representation of the industrial island.

Cost: Adults $25 | Under 18 $20 | Under 2 Free
