Craft Vermont by Vermont Hand Crafters
Vermont Hand Crafters is the oldest and largest juried craft organization in VT. They represent a broad spectrum of extraordinary artists and craftsman. Vermont Hand Crafters produces this premier three day, annual event the week before Thanksgiving (November 20-22 ) at the Sheraton Conference Center, South Burlington, Vermont. This is the largest and oldest juried show of Vermont only artists and craftspeople in the state. The quality and reputation of this event draws thousands of customers from across the state and greater New England.
Customers can shop many booths showcasing one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces in aromatherapy; baskets; botanicals; ceramics; decorative painting; digital art; fiber decorative; fiber wearable; fine art; furniture; glass; jewelry; leather; metal; mixed media; paper; photography; print-making; and wood. The quality and reputation of this event draws thousands of customers from across the state and greater New England.

Lake Monsters Free Family Fun Fest
The Lake Monsters will be hosting our third annual FREE Family Fun Fest on Saturday, November 21st from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction. Join CHAMP and the Lake Monsters for a morning of FREE fun and activities that will feature:
- A special appearance by everyone’s favorite mascot CHAMP, who will be on hand to take pictures, and sign autographs with the kids
- Fan-favorite inflatable games including the speed pitch and obstacle courses
- A CHAMP coloring station
- Free hot dogs for fans in attendance while supplies last, courtesy of McKenzie’s Country Classics and Freihofer’s.
- Free raffle sign ups, where one lucky person will win a 4-foot tall Vermont Teddy Bear, in addition to other great prizes
Merchandise, ticket packages and holiday stocking stuffers will also be available for purchase at the Fun Fest.

Santa’s Arrival at University Mall
Join University Mall at 11 am for Santa’s Arrival Parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by train in a parade featuring a marching band. Following the parade take a train ride, bounce in the bouncy castle, have your face painted and have your picture taken with Santa. The holidays will officially begin Saturday November 21 at University Mall!
